What happens when you die scientifically? That depends on which scientific paradigm you believe in. According to classical science only what we can measure is real and therefore death would be a black nothingness. However, because science can only account for 4 percent of our universe new science is trying to discover what the 96 percent and the rest of the universe is made of.

So, Can quantum theory explain life after death?  Present theories in quantum physics predict 7 extra dimensions and explain that the fundamental level of the universe is energy, so according to new science when we die we would return to this ultimate nature of the universe as energy. The Large Hadron Collider at CERN, Geneva, is trying to find the Higgs particle or so-called "God particle" and this would be proof of these extra dimensions.
